Troop Merit Badge Counselors

These are adults associated with our troop who are certified as merit badge counselors for certain merit badges.  Note that scouts are not required to use these counselors for these merit badges -- other merit badge counselors certified for the Des Plaines Valley Council can be found here.  Requirements for specific merit badges can be found at meritbadge.com.  If you would like to have your name added to this list, contact the webmaster. 

Would you like to be a merit badge counselor for the troop?  Fantastic!!  Contact the Troop Committee Chairperson and we will see that you get matched up with the appropriate badges (there are a lot more than those listed below!) and that the proper paperwork and training gets taken care of.  Note that a 1-hour Des Plaines Valley Council counselor orientation class is also required.
