Check out the Schedule site for the latest updates and activities.

Quick Updates

Merit Badge

 Counselors needed,

With several adults moving on to new endeavors, we need new merit badge counselors.

Requirements are...an interest in helping Scouts, general knowledge of the subject of the merit badge, one time completion of a Merit Badge counselor class, and completion of on-line Youth Protection Training (YPT) every two years.  If we get several adults, council will come to us to train us.  We especially need counselors for the Eagle Required Merit Badges.  Camping, Environmental Science, Communications, Lifesaving, Personal Fitness, Swimming.

  • Parents!  Looking for a way to become more involved in Troop activities?  Want to help shape how the Troop addresses the needs of your son and all the other scouts?  Here are a few ideas...
          ---> Join the Troop Committee
          ---> Participate in Boards of Review for rank advancements
          ---> Become an Assistant Scoutmaster
          ---> Come up with a troop fundraising idea (Contact the fundraising chair, Joe Mihalko)
          ---> Come along on a campout or other activity (moms and dads are always welcome!)
          ---> Become a merit badge counselor
          ---> Suggest outing opportunities

    There are many ways you can help out!  You'll probably have fun doing it and get to know your son a little better at the same time!  Contact one of the scout leaders for additional information...
