Welcome!

Welcome to the web site for Boy Scout Troop 57!  We hope you find the site useful for learning more about our Troop!  Stop by often to get information about activities and upcoming events. Summer Camp information update......

Things you need to go behind the cheddar curtain:

A permission slip (with additional details is linked) (Submit permission slip to Mr. Mahlan)

In addition to the permission slip, every Scout and Adult attending the camp must have a recent (within the last 12 months) BSA Health Form on file.  All three parts for the form are required - note that Part B must be completed by a doctor. 

AND a copy of BOTH sides of your insurance card.    (Submit medical form to Mr. Mohr)

Attend the Camp Mach- crew meeting Sunday 7PM, 6/28 at St. Pauls'

Lastly, check out the 2009 merit badge schedule and get your requests to Mr. Windishman




 


  • Parents!  Looking for a way to become more involved in Troop activities?  Want to help shape how the Troop addresses the needs of your son and all the other scouts?  Here are a few ideas...
          ---> Join the Troop Committee (Contact Nick Stepp)
          ---> Participate in Boards of Review for rank advancements
          ---> Become an Assistant Scoutmaster
          ---> Come up with a troop fundraising idea (Contact the fundraising chair, Joe Mihalko)
          ---> Come along on a campout or other activity (moms and dads are always welcome!)
          ---> Become a merit badge counselor
          ---> Suggest outing opportunities

    There are many ways you can help out!  You'll probably have fun doing it and get to know your son a little better at the same time!  Contact one of the scout leaders for additional information...
